PANAJI: With the aim of encouraging academic excellence and recognising student achievements in Porvorim, Porvorim Rising has organised a felicitation ceremony for meritorious SSC, HSSC and degree students. The event will be held at Porvorim Gymkhana on June 6 at 3.30 pm. Students who have scored more than 75% in the SSC and HSSC examinations this year will be honoured at the ceremony. Around 200 students are expected to be felicitated.
Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte will attend as the chief guest. Keynote speaker Vijay Vikram Singh will address the students on career opportunities, higher education, and personality development.
